1954-1964 Ford car and truck Y block V8 alternator and bracket Chrome kit.

Fits Ford Mercury Y block 272 292 312 engines.

Note: will not fit 390 or 427 big block engines:

Perfect for changing generator power to 175 amp alternator for added amperage, airride suspension, AC, Hi wattage audio systems.

1 or 2 wire connection option plug to operate charge not charge dash light. click here

Comes with 175 amp black series alternator, Y block bracket set-up the best one on the market that allows for perfect fit and belt adjustment. Designed for both cars and trucks.

May not fit 239 Y block engines installed in 1955 F100 trucks this is due to different water pumps. Also will not fit 1955-57 T-Birds. will not hold the alternator in the proper location for the belt alignment on the 1955-57 T-Bird application. Use for these applications recommend using the Powergen alternators.

Some parts carry a longer manufacture limited warranty, in this case Vintage Auto Garage LLC will cover the first year [12 months] warranty and the manufacture would cover the remaining warranty period. Battery cables manufactured by Vintage Auto Garage LLC have a lifetime limited warranty to the original buyer. Extended warranty coverage can be purchased separately for some products that would extend the normal warranty by [12 months], [24 months] or [36 months].
