1954-1964 Ford Mercury car, truck Y block V8 alternator and bracket Black kit, fits Ford Mercury Y block 272 292 312 engines.
Perfect for changing generator power to 100 amp alternator.
Comes with 100 amp show quality black alternator, Y block bracket set-up the best one on the market that allows for perfect fit and belt adjustment. Designed for both cars and trucks. Shipped with 2 wire plug / wire kit and 3/8" pulley.
May not fit 239 Y block engines installed in 1955 F100 trucks this is due to different water pumps. Also will not fit 1955-57 T-Birds. will not hold the alternator in the proper location for the belt alignment on the 1955-57 T-Bird application. Use for these applications recommend using the Powergen alternators.
This kit will not fit Lincoln or T-Birds see our kits for these specific make and models.

Some parts carry a longer manufacture limited warranty, in this case Vintage Auto Garage LLC will cover the first year [12 months] warranty and the manufacture would cover the remaining warranty period. Battery cables manufactured by Vintage Auto Garage LLC have a lifetime limited warranty to the original buyer. Extended warranty coverage can be purchased separately for some products that would extend the normal warranty by [12 months], [24 months] or [36 months].
