Ford 1932-1953 Flathead v8 ready to run distributor with electronic conversion (1932-48) or reconditoned mechanical (1949-1953). These are orginal Ford distributors that have been fully rebuilt replacing the points system with an  electronic module or reconditioned (respectively). 
12 volts neg ground. 
 
This is your solution for upgrading early Ford flathead V8 ignition system to electronic without the tooling and test equipment necessary for upgrading these Ford engines to electronic ignition or reconditioned to modern standards. 
 
Depending on if this is an exchange or not, each distributor is complelely disassambled, cleaned, inspected replacing parts that are out of tolerance. Center rotor is measured for wear and replaced as needed, rotor side cap clearances are measured and aligned.
