Ford 1937-1941 distributor build with points and condenser operates on 6 or 12 volts. Rework your distributor add 2 screw coil adaptor, to operate 6 or 12 volt remote coil. (coil not included)
Each distributor is complelely disassambled, cleaned, inspected replacing parts that are out of tolerance. Center rotor is measured for wear and replaced as needed, rotor side cap clearances are measured and aligned. New points and condenser installed per the factory specs and properly set up for trouble free operation.
The old 6 volt coil will be removed and replaced by our coil adaptor kit that allows the installation of a remote coil.
This is not exchange service rather rework your own distributor allow 7-10 days turn around time plus shipping time. If need faster service, there will be a $70 core charge added to the price, refunable when we receive the rebuildable core back.
