Product Description Ford 1937-1941 distributor Repair 6 volt Pos Grd electronic distributor -FDR3741-6P

Ford 1937-1941 Flathead V8 distributor rebuild customer owned to factory specs with electronic conversion.

6 volt positive ground electronic

Each distributor is complelely disassambled, cleaned, inspected replacing parts that are out of tolerance. Center rotor is measured for wear and replaced as needed, rotor side cap clearances are measured and aligned. New 6 volt positive ground Pertronix module is installed per the factory specs and properly set up for trouble free operation.

The old 6 volt coil will be removed and replaced by our 3 screw coil adaptor kit that allows the installation of a remote coil use only CE1500 coil for these conversions.

Important information to know about electronic distributors.

12-Volt negative ground applications only. 2. DO NOT USE SOLID CORE SPARK PLUG WIRE. Use suppression or carbon type spark plug wires. 3. Warning!!! Leaving the ignition switch “ON” with the engine “OFF” for an extended period could result in permanent damage to the Ignitor. 4.The correct 1.5 OHM coil must be used to ensure proper operation. Includes coil wire from distributor to coil.

Some parts carry a longer manufacture limited warranty, in this case Vintage Auto Garage LLC will cover the first year [12 months] warranty and the manufacture would cover the remaining warranty period. Battery cables manufactured by Vintage Auto Garage LLC have a lifetime limited warranty to the original buyer. Extended warranty coverage can be purchased separately for some products that would extend the normal warranty by [12 months], [24 months] or [36 months].
