Product Description Ford 1932-1941 distributor 6 volts Pos Grd electronic distributor exchange or outright sale-FDE3241-PG

Ford 1932-1941 Flathead v8 ready to run distributor with electronic conversion exchange or outright sale. These are orginal Ford distributors that have been fully rebuilt replacing the points system with Pertonix electronic module. 
6 volt positive ground electronic 
 
This is a turn key solution for upgrading early Ford flathead V8 ignition system to electronic without the tooling and test equipment necessary for converting 1932-41 engines to electronic ignition. 
 
Each distributor is complelely disassambled, cleaned, inspected replacing parts that are out of tolerance. Center rotor is measured for wear and replaced as needed, rotor side cap clearances are measured and aligned. New 6 volt positve ground Pertronix module is installed per the factory specs and properly set up for trouble free operation. 
 
Terminal plates and caps are not included with this exchange
 
The old 6 volt coil has been removed and replaced by our coil adaptor kit that allows the installation of a remote coil.
 
Important information to know about electronic distributors. 
6-Volt positive ground applications only. 2. DO NOT USE SOLID CORE SPARK PLUG WIRE. Use suppression or carbon type spark plug wires. 3. Warning!!! Leaving the ignition switch “ON” with the engine “OFF” for an extended period could result in permanent damage to the Ignitor. 4.The correct 1.5 OHM coil must be used to ensure proper operation.

There is no warranty on parts that have been modified, painted, altered or not correctly installed. Some parts carry a longer manufacture limited warranty, in this case Vintage Auto Garage LLC will cover the first year [12 months] warranty and the manufacture would cover the remaining warranty period. Battery cables manufactured by Vintage Auto Garage LLC have a lifetime limited warranty to the original buyer. Extended warranty coverage can be purchased separately for some products that would extend the normal warranty by [12 months], [24 months] or [36 months].
