About Our Vintage Jeep Parts

Willys originally made their Jeeps for military use, and then civilian use on farms and in manual labor. In these settings, they could haul heavy loads and traverse difficult terrain, but these jobs lead to wear and tear on the car parts and you will need replacements to maintain your Jeep.

Our parts are rugged enough to meet your needs whether you use your Jeep for hard work or cruising. Often, they will even provide better and longer lasting performance than the stock parts the Jeep came with since we are using the more advanced materials available today.

The Jeep parts we sell at Vintage Auto Garage include:

• 6 Volt to 12 Volt Conversion Kits - Antique Jeeps were short on accessories, and 6 volt power was adequate. Switching to 12 volt power will enable you to install new accessories, make repairs with modern parts, and provide enough power to start your vintage car.
• Gear Reduction Starters - Your starter provides the power needed to start the engine, but wear on the original direct drive starter can make it so that your Jeep won’t start. Our starters use updated ball bearing construction, fit into the existing space in a Willys, and will work reliably for years.
• Wiring Harness Kits - Older wiring material can corrode over time with driving and weather. We provide wiring kits that include replacement wires with the correct gauge for each purpose in the Jeep.
• Ignitions, Start Solenoids, and More - Getting a Jeep started requires several parts working together. If any of these parts breaks, your Jeep may not run. Our parts enable you to replace anything that is not working or upgrade to get better performance.
