Shipping Returns Warranty
Domestic orders:
We use USPS, UPS and Fedex to ship orders. When checking out in the shopping cart we will add the shipping fees based on the ship to location. In some cases our shipping department will select a different shipping method than what was shown on the initial order, this is done to help expedite orders to the customers location. We make every effort to ship orders the next business day M-F the order is received. If an item (s) is on back order, we will notify via email or phone and ship the entire order at one time and not partial ship unless prior arrangement is made
International orders:
Shipped primarily via Fedex or Postal service, shipping quote does not include any local taxes or duties, we do not collect those fees upfront and will be the customers responsibility to pay these fees in addition to the shipping transit fees.
Returns
We want you to be completely satisfied with products purchased from us. In the event you are not satisfied or need to return an item, please refer to the following instructions for Returns, Warranties or Damaged Items.
There will be no cash refunds only store credit on Pertronix modules that are returned for any reason. If module is defective will process warranty claim with Pertronix and issue store credit upon there approval.
You may return the new/unused items in the original box with all instructions and packaging within 30 days of purchase without a restocking fees. There will be 15% restocking fees for any item returned after 31 days of order and no returns will be accepted after 60 days. No returns on parts that have been installed, modified, painted, special orders, scratched or dented, or parts that are part of a bundled kit unless previously approved.
Returns can be processed as an exchange, store credit or refund back to the original form of payment within the time limits set above.
Prior to issuing return label, we will need photos of the items you wish to return.
Pack your items in a sturdy box and include a clear copy of the original invoice for the parts you are returning or exchanging. We will provide you a UPS label for your return with the Return Authorization number printed on the UPS label. You will need to have a printer installed on your computer to print the return label.
There will be a return label fee deducted from the refund or store credit. This fee will be the actual shipping fees we were charged from UPS ground shipping which will likely be less than retail UPS fees.
Once a return has been received and approved, the credit will be processed within 14 business days to the original form of payment, less the return label fee.
Please follow these instructions so we can process your return correctly.
- If item is defective please explain the problem.
- All items must be shipped in original boxes with instructions, hardware and paperwork that came with the item.
- Item must be packaged properly to avoid damage during return shipment, if item is damaged in shipping, will be the responsibility of shipper.
- No COD or freight collect will be accepted.
- Restocking fees of 15% will apply to items returned after 30 days. No returns are accepted after 60 days.
- Credit will be issued for merchandise only, no refunds for original shipping.
- Allow up to 14 business days to process return credits.
Returned items that do not meet this criteria will be returned to the customer in the same way received.
Packages not received: Vintage Auto Garage is not responsible for packages that are not received by the customer. Once the shipment is scanned by the carrier at our warehouse a tracking number is emailed to the customer for tracking purposes. It is the carriers responsibility to deliver the package and the customers responsibility to track. In the event the package was not received please contact us for assistance and we will file a claim on the customers behalf. If the package was confirmed delivered by the carrier there is nothing we can do.
We highly recommend purchasing the shipping insurance that we make available. This insurance, this protects the buyers from packages that were lost, stolen or damaged.
Extend Warranty and Shipping Protection:
If you need to file a claim go to www.extend.com then enter the email address used when original order was placed and follow instructions on their website.
Extend will review your claim and follow-up within 12-24 hours, once approved Extend will email a voucher that you will be able to use on Vintage Auto Garage website, you will enter this voucher in the coupon code area at check out to purchase replacement item. There is no need to return the defective item and can be disposed of locally.
