Product Description 1955-1962 Chevrolet 216,235,265,283,327 Cui pre 1964 engines 90 amp Powergen alternator kit - C5562PSK-90

This kit fits OHV 6 cylinder 216, 235 and V8 265,283,327 cui engines. 

This kit replaces that old generator in pre 1964 Chevy 6 and V8 engines with a Powergen 1 wire internally regulated alternator. Achieve more consistent charging at idle, and power that can handle  the electrical devices you might add-on to your vehicle. Easy to install, includes, connection wiring kit.
 
  • GM short case (5.95 field housing)
  • 1.5" shorter than standard generator
  • Easy one-wire hookup
  • 65 amp idle, 75 amp cruise, 90 amp top end
  • Includes lamp terminal for (GEN) charge light
  • 3/8" wide belt pulley included
  • Some applications may require pulley transfer from original generator or step pulley for belt alignment
  • Order optional step 3/8" pulley to extend for belt alignment needed in some applications. 
  • Mounts to stock engine bracket and belt tension rod.

Light bulbs are not covered under any warranty, if your order arrives with damaged bulbs caused by shipping, Vintage Auto Garage LLC will replace the light bulb at no charge. There is no warranty on parts that have been modified, painted, altered or not correctly installed. Some parts carry a longer manufacture limited warranty, in this case Vintage Auto Garage LLC will cover the first year [12 months] warranty and the manufacture would cover the remaining warranty period. Battery cables manufactured by Vintage Auto Garage LLC have a lifetime limited warranty to the original buyer. Extended warranty coverage can be purchased separately for some products that would extend the normal warranty by [12 months], [24 months] or [36 months].
