Product Description Alternator Connector to operate generator dash light - PCS130L
Delco CS130L Alternator Connector. Connector is made to power the original generator dash lights when installing CS130 alternator. Do not use the connector unless connectng to dash Gen/Alt charge/no charge light bulb.
This plug adaptor acts as a source of current to excite or turn on the alternator at low RPM. This plug can also be used to power dash light (charge not charge light) The brown wire is connected to the L terminal of the connector then wired directly to the dash light.
The connected to the plug does not have a diode and is not needed on any vehicle with modern ignition key switch.
