What I did to make it work
62' 235 engine in 54 belair. work at parts store/machine shop so got a 10SI alternator, not sure on the output just got the DelcoRemy 10SI that the site said to. The hole on the alternator was larger than the bolt provided so I got one that fit as best as possible (10mm 1.25 thread) and drilled out the holes in the bracket to fit as best as possible (13/32 drill bitt), I also shimed the alternator and bracket to take up some play I felt would allow for cocking (to allow for straight alighnment.) I had to change the belt to a 40 1/8" (NAPA 7395) 3/8 wide belt to allow the alternator to roll up in order for the arm to clear the housing and allow it to line up with the slider bolt. I also bolted the arm on the highest up water pump bolt on the driver side. Still waiting on a plug with a diode but looks to of lighned up properly. overall it took a little forsight and thinking to get the kit to fit as envisioned but I am satisfied with the bracket kit
