1952-1956 Lincoln Big Block Y, 6 volt to 12 volt Conversion Kit. Note this kit will not fit T Thunderbirds click this link to T bird kit
This kit fits the 312 317 332 Y "Big" block that was installed in larger F series trucks along with Lincolns and in some cases found in Galaxy 500's
Kit includes, Delco style 12v 100 amp alternator with pulley and universal Y Block V8 bracket. The bracket locates the alternator in the same position as the generator being removed so the belts will line up. The kit also includes; Ignition Coil, Headlight Relay, Horn Relay, Oil Gas Temp Gauge Regulator (allows the use of original 6v gauge sending units), Start Solenoid and alternator connection kit with special exite plug for maximum charging.
Note Lincoln used a long case Ford alternator and requires a universal bracket to fit. Standard Y block bracket
BKT5462 will not fit.
