Product Description 1951-1955 Studebaker 8 cylinder 12 Volt Powergen Conversion Kit - STP1008-90
1951-1955 Studebaker 6 to 12 Volt Conversion Kit . 8 cylinder engines.
This kit will convert Studebaker with Autolite generators to 90 amp 12 volt 1 wire alternator.
Note if your vehicle has Overdrive you will need to upgrade the solenoid and relay, see optional items below
If you want to add electronic ignition module to your distributor, we will need the distributor part number.
This kit includes the correct coil for electronic ignition or points
Kit contains:
- Powermaster 90 amp 60 amps at idle alternator (looks and mounts like original Autolite generator)
- 10 AWG connections cable from alternator to battery
- Horn relay
- Headlight relay
- Starter solenoid
- Coil epoxy filled (internally resistance coil) high output coil. works on points or electronic ignition systems
- Gauge reducer will operate oil gas and temp electric gauges
- Gauge reducer wiring kit
- Alternator 125 amp output fuse kit
- Wiper reducer
- Heater motor reducer
- Installation instructions
