Product Description 1948-1954 Chevy Car Truck 175 amp electric key starter - C4854B-175

1948-1954 Chevrolet Car or Truck 12v Conversion Kit with 175 amp Alternator and Start Solenoid.

This kit is for Chevrolet cars or trucks with key electric starter utilizing start solenoid versus foot pedal starter and need hi current for high power sound systems, AC, airride suspention.

Note: Due to the 175 amp high output of this alterntor install 8 awg output wire for proper charging, do not run this wire through the ammeter in the dash. stock ammeter or batt guages are not rated for this high current.

Kit contains the basic parts needed to convert your Chevrolet car or truck to 12 volts. We offer a high output 175 amp output alternator (100 amps at most idle speeds) can be configured with narrow or wide pulleys (select pulley size from our menu).

kit Includes: 175 amp alternator (3/8" narrow or 5/8" wide pulley) with easy fit Bracket, Headlight Relay, Horn Relay, Coil, Gas Gauge Voltage Reducer, charge plug, 8awg charge wire, and starter solenoid.

Light bulbs are not covered under any warranty, if your order arrives with damaged bulbs caused by shipping, Vintage Auto Garage LLC will replace the light bulb at no charge. There is no warranty on parts that have been modified, painted, altered or not correctly installed. Some parts carry a longer manufacture limited warranty, in this case Vintage Auto Garage LLC will cover the first year [12 months] warranty and the manufacture would cover the remaining warranty period. Battery cables manufactured by Vintage Auto Garage LLC have a lifetime limited warranty to the original buyer. Extended warranty coverage can be purchased separately for some products that would extend the normal warranty by [12 months], [24 months] or [36 months].
