Product Description 1928-31 Ford Model A Gear Reduction Starter 12 Volts - 3100GR
Ford Model A 1928-1931 Starter 12 Volts and replaces the original 6 volt starter motor when converting over to 12 volt systems.
You will need key or push button starter switch when installing this starter. These starters have integrated starter solenoids. See purchase options. Chose between the 2 options. First has key swich with dash start pushbutton, second options only had dash pushbutton.
High torque & more cranking speed
- All ball bearing construction
- Starter can be clocked in 3 different positions depending on clearance
- 8.3 pounds (much lighter than the old starter)
- Better cracking on high compression engines
- 12 volts
- Distance between the mounting plate holes: 108 121 131 millimeters

Some parts carry a longer manufacture limited warranty, in this case Vintage Auto Garage LLC will cover the first year [12 months] warranty and the manufacture would cover the remaining warranty period. Battery cables manufactured by Vintage Auto Garage LLC have a lifetime limited warranty to the original buyer. Extended warranty coverage can be purchased separately for some products that would extend the normal warranty by [12 months], [24 months] or [36 months]. It all seems great but nothing is said any ware I can fine as to what pos battery cable size to use 2 guage or 4 gauge ?
