Bracket mounts alternator in the same location as the original Autolite generator the large U shape connects the bracket on the engine 6.56" inside, small U 2" is the mounting point for the alternator (Delco 10Si or CS 130). Comes with alternator mounting hardware, use the same hardware to mount to engine bracket and belt tension rod.

There is no warranty on parts that have been modified, painted, altered or not correctly installed. Some parts carry a longer manufacture limited warranty, in this case Vintage Auto Garage LLC will cover the first year [12 months] warranty and the manufacture would cover the remaining warranty period. Battery cables manufactured by Vintage Auto Garage LLC have a lifetime limited warranty to the original buyer. Extended warranty coverage can be purchased separately for some products that would extend the normal warranty by [12 months], [24 months] or [36 months]. Converting an old 6 V generator to a 6 V alternator
With immense determination, elbow, grease, and figuring out how to Gerry rig a few things. It’s installed. It’s remarkable how much better that car runs. I could’ve converted it to a 12 V but I didn’t want to deal with all of the light bulbs! This is for a 1948 Dodge taxi . I’m very happy with my decision to convert it to a 6 V alternator. I do it again after all I know it was the best decision.
