1932-1941 Ford - Mercury V8 Flathead Pertronix Ignition Module, 1286LSP6 6 volts positive ground.

Use the Correct Coil: This ignition module requires a specific low-resistance coil. You must use a coil designed for a 6-volt system that is compatible with the Pertronix LS Ignitor. Using a stock coil or an incorrect aftermarket coil will quickly burn out and destroy the module. Pertronix recommends their 6-Volt Flame-Thrower 45111

Use Suppression-Style Spark Plug Wires: You cannot use original-style solid metal core spark plug wires. The radio frequency interference (RFI) they create will disrupt the electronics in the module. You must use modern spiral core or carbon core "suppression" type wires. Click here

Light bulbs are not covered under any warranty, if your order arrives with damaged bulbs caused by shipping, Vintage Auto Garage LLC will replace the light bulb at no charge. There is no warranty on parts that have been modified, painted, altered or not correctly installed. Some parts carry a longer manufacture limited warranty, in this case Vintage Auto Garage LLC will cover the first year [12 months] warranty and the manufacture would cover the remaining warranty period. Battery cables manufactured by Vintage Auto Garage LLC have a lifetime limited warranty to the original buyer. Extended warranty coverage can be purchased separately for some products that would extend the normal warranty by [12 months], [24 months] or [36 months].
