Product Description 1951 Ford Mercury Flathead V8 PowerGen (Shorty multi carb) kit F5138PGS

Before ordering this kit, verify the width of your exiting generator belt and pulley this kit comes standard with 5/8" wide belts. If you need 3/8" narrow pulley please add as option below.

Included in conversion kit. 12 volt Powergen 90 amp black Short alternator with 5/8" pulley that mounts the alternator in the same position as the original generator. The shorty (7.28") alternator allows more clearance for multi-carbs. High output Ignition Coil, Headlight Relay, Horn Relay, Oil Gas Temp Gauge Regulator (allows use of original 6v gauge sending units), Start Solenoid (ground activated) use with original dash start button, 6' of 10 AWG alterantor connection wire, 125 amp fuse kit, 3 pin turn signal flasher and the correct light bulbs for car year.

There are several optional items you can add to your kit.

This kit converts vehicle from positive to negative ground. Consider ordering optional battery cables as they are made to fit and super high quality.

Light bulbs are not covered under any warranty, if your order arrives with damaged bulbs caused by shipping, Vintage Auto Garage LLC will replace the light bulb at no charge. There is no warranty on parts that have been modified, painted, altered or not correctly installed. Some parts carry a longer manufacture limited warranty, in this case Vintage Auto Garage LLC will cover the first year [12 months] warranty and the manufacture would cover the remaining warranty period. Battery cables manufactured by Vintage Auto Garage LLC have a lifetime limited warranty to the original buyer. Extended warranty coverage can be purchased separately for some products that would extend the normal warranty by [12 months], [24 months] or [36 months].
