1948 1951 Alternator Bracket for Ford 6 Cylinder H Series Flathead Engines.
Before you order, please read the installation instructions. To correctly mount this bracket you will need to modify the 10Si alternator which involves opening the alternator and machining the rear boss and re-clocking the housing. This bracket will not fit standard 10S1 alternators, best to order complete alternator and bracket ready to run. click here
Use this precision machined steel bracket to mount an alternator on to a Ford flathead H series 6. It mounts the alternator in the same position as the stock generator so that the belts will still line up correctly, Includes hardware.
Bracket only fits H series engines made between 1948-1951, does not fit G series engines and we do not currently have a bracket that will fit G series engines.

Battery cables manufactured by Vintage Auto Garage LLC have a lifetime limited warranty to the original buyer. Extended warranty coverage can be purchased separately for some products that would extend the normal warranty by [12 months], [24 months] or [36 months]. Had to modify bracket
went to finally install this on my 1950 226H truck engine and had to trim bracket by the forward hole due to a boss with drain plug that was interfering. arc of upper bracket hits water pump and timing gear cover which limits adjust ability.
