Product Description 1954-1955 Ford Mercury Cars Trucks Y Block 100 amps Chrome Kit - F5455YKC-100

1954-1955 Ford Mercury Car or Truck Y Block V8 Engine 12V Conversion Kit.

Kit includes, 100 amp high quality chrome alternator with 3/8" pulley, Custom Y Block V8 bracket. The bracket locates the alternator in the same position as the generator being removed so the belts will line up. The kit also includes; Ignition Coil, Headlight Relay, Horn Relay, Oil Gas Temp Gauge Regulator (allows the use of original 6v gauge sending units), Start Solenoid and alternator connection kit with special charge plug for maximum charging at idle and will activae the dash charge light
 
May not fit 239 engines installed in 1955 F100 trucks this is due to different water pumps. Also will not fit 1955-57 T-Birds. will not hold the alternator in the proper location for the belt alignment on the 1955-57 T-Bird application. Use for these applications recommend using the Powergen alternators. 
 
This kit will not fit Lincoln or T-Birds see our kits for these specific make and models.

Light bulbs are not covered under any warranty, if your order arrives with damaged bulbs caused by shipping, Vintage Auto Garage LLC will replace the light bulb at no charge. There is no warranty on parts that have been modified, painted, altered or not correctly installed. Some parts carry a longer manufacture limited warranty, in this case Vintage Auto Garage LLC will cover the first year [12 months] warranty and the manufacture would cover the remaining warranty period. Battery cables manufactured by Vintage Auto Garage LLC have a lifetime limited warranty to the original buyer. Extended warranty coverage can be purchased separately for some products that would extend the normal warranty by [12 months], [24 months] or [36 months].
